I work with you to increase awareness and understanding through exploration of what is going on in your life. Additionally, I support you in harnessing (or making peace with) the natural wisdom of the mind, heart and body so you can achieve deep, sustainable healing and growth. Depending on your goals, you will have opportunities to learn new skills so you can be more effective, and to use the creative arts to enhance your healing process.
I specialize in providing therapy to artists and individuals in high stress careers/schools whose anxiety, perfectionism, depression and difficulty with emotion regulation are getting in the way of their goals. I am also honored to provide compassionate therapy to survivors of trauma and eating disorders, as well as couples and individuals looking to increase intimacy and sexual fulfillment.
I provide compassionate therapy for adults, adolescents, families and couples. Therapy sessions are generally 50 minutes, sometimes longer when appropriate. Most therapy is in person in my office in Pasadena. For California residents in special circumstances I do provide online sessions.
