My style is warm, curious and collaborative. I offer a safe space for you to explore your past and current experiences. Sometimes, just talking it through and connecting with yourself and a compassionate therapist can lead to deep healing. However, depending on your goals, you will also have opportunities to learn new strategies for changing or accepting difficult situations, emotions and thoughts. We can also pull from mindfulness-based therapies that support you in achieving deep, sustainable healing and growth.
I specialize in providing therapy to artists and individuals in high stress careers/schools whose anxiety, perfectionism, depression and difficulty with emotion regulation are getting in the way of their goals. I am also honored to provide compassionate, specialized therapy to survivors of trauma and/or eating disorders who are seeking peace and a renewed sense of worthiness and possibility.
I provide psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, families and couples. Therapy sessions are generally 50 minutes, sometimes longer when appropriate. Most therapy is in person in my office in Pasadena. For California residents in special circumstances I do provide video sessions.
